Alexi Abi

A visual artist located in ward 6 of Washington, D.C., with a primary emphasis on abstract art. My artistic repertoire spans various mediums, including acrylic, metallic, watercolor, and mixed media on canvas. I hold the distinction of being a nominee for the 2023 Mayor’s Art Award in the category of Arts Education and a graduate of the 2023 winter cohort for Mayor Bowsers 202 Creates initiative. Beyond my artistic pursuits, I am deeply engaged in educational endeavors and community activism within my locality. My primary focus revolves around leveraging art for community engagement and educational initiatives. Collaborating with numerous artists, organizations, businesses and community activists in Washington, D.C., I orchestrate remarkable events, experiences, and showcases throughout the city.
