HumanitiesDC | Cycle II Grant – General Operating Support | Deadline May 1

 Calling all storytellers! 

 Cycle II grants include the Continuing Oral History Projects grant and the General Operating Support grant. The Continuing Oral History Projects grant funds the continuation of oral history projects funded by HumanitiesDC in 2024 or earlier. The General Operating Support grant supports non-profit organizations with a humanities-focused mission and annual budgets of less than $2 million.

The General Operating Support grant aims to shore up the vibrant humanities landscape in DC by offering unrestricted funds to DC-based humanities nonprofits.

Eligibility: non-profit organizations with a humanities-focused mission and annual budgets of less than $2 million

Award Amount: Up to $25,000

Application Submission Deadline: May 1, 2025 at 5:59PM

Grant Period Begins: July 1, 2025

Grant Period Ends: April 30, 2026
