Ama’d

If you were to ask “What makes a successful rapper?,” most people would be inclined to first list off certain accolades such as specific awards which that rapper has garnered, their net worth, and/or their popularity. But for Ama’d, the first thing that comes to his mind as an answer to the question is the word “impact.” Ahmad Woodard (Professionally known as “Ama’d”) is a songwriter, recording artist, emcee/lyricist, rapper, and poet from Washington D.C. Ama’d acknowledges his alma mater of Southeast D.C. Anacostia High School for allowing him to blossom and grow into the artist and young man that he is today. Ama’d seeks to have a long career in the music business as an artist, and he’s hopeful that the music he creates can inspire others in a multitude of ways. Finally, Ama’d is working to create a timeless catalog of music that will outlive his physical presence on earth.
