I’m an artist born and raised in the DMV, deeply inspired by the environment around me—especially low-income communities. There’s a raw beauty in how people use what they have to create joy, build life, and express themselves. I’m constantly drawn to contrast—whether it’s in fashion, neighborhoods, or materials. I find harmony in the unexpected: mixing pieces that “shouldn’t” go together and discovering a rhythm between opposing worlds. My work often explores the line between what society discards and what we treasure. I live by the idea that one man’s trash is another man’s masterpiece. That mindset has shaped the way I create—whether I’m using fabric, pencil, charcoal, acrylic, or spray paint (which I always have on deck). I’m drawn to the bold, the untraditional, the unpolished. Inspired by artists like Kandinsky and Basquiat, and grounded in the disruptive spirit of the Dada movement, my art challenges norms while celebrating everyday beauty. I see art in everything. God’s creation is my constant muse—there’s beauty in every crack, every corner, every moment. I’ve been creating since I could hold a pencil. From running in a paint smock at age 4 to sketching fashion looks at 7, directing fashion shows in high school, and eventually earning my degree in Fine Arts—this is not just something I do, it’s who I am. Whether I’m styling, painting, or designing, my hands speak the language of creativity.
