The Art Is.

Annah, “The Art Is.”, is a multidisciplined creative based in the DMV, who constructs art that explores different mediums, styles and techniques to convey the complexities of the human experience. Often blending abstract figures in surreal environments, she seeks to capture the essence of emotions present in everyday life. Self taught and constantly seeking evolution, she uses realism, surrealism, and faceless figures to tell a story all their own. From creating live art, to installing murals and community exhibitions, the largest and most reoccurring theme in her artwork are from the very things she was raised on and inspired by: purpose, justice, community, Black love, Black Joy, and Black Power.
