Gallery Opening: March 20th, 2025
ABOUT
DMPED & Art to Go-Go Bring Local Art to Fuddruckers’ New Flagship Location
In a dynamic collaboration between the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED) and Art to Go-Go, Washington, DC’s official Arts & Culture District, the first-ever art gallery exhibition has been unveiled at Fuddruckers’ new flagship location at 781 7th Street NW. This rotating gallery will showcase works from artists and collaborators who embody the rich cultural heritage and legacy of the nation’s capital.
The inaugural collection features pieces selected from members of Art to Go-Go’s creative collective—artists with deep community ties to Ward 8 and the historic Anacostia Arts & Culture District. Through this partnership, the space will serve as both a culinary and artistic destination, amplifying local voices and preserving the city’s vibrant artistic identity. As the gallery evolves, it will continue to highlight diverse expressions of DC’s creative spirit, reinforcing the role of art in fostering community and cultural appreciation.
