WASHINGTON, D.C. — July 1, 2026

Artists from across the Washington metropolitan region are invited to showcase their work as the Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture opens submissions for its 55th Annual Labor Day Art Show, one of the area’s longest-running and largest exhibitions celebrating local artistic talent.

Scheduled for September 5–7, 2026, the annual exhibition will once again fill the historic Spanish Ballroom at Glen Echo Park with hundreds of original works created by artists from throughout the greater Washington, D.C. region. A public opening reception will take place on Friday, September 4, welcoming visitors for an evening celebrating the area’s vibrant creative community.

Visitors can explore an impressive range of artistic disciplines, including painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, fiber arts, jewelry, furniture, and works on paper. In addition to celebrating regional talent, the exhibition provides attendees with an opportunity to purchase original artwork directly from participating artists.

Entries must be submitted online by Monday, August 3, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EDT. Submitted artwork must be original and available for sale during the exhibition.
